Tengam Engineering, Inc., Innovative Leaders in Bonded Magnet Technology, announced today that it has named Greg Johnson as a new member to its Management Team. Tengam Engineering, founded in 1972, manufactures a wide range of injection molded bonded magnets and magnetic assemblies.

His extensive experience in product development, from concept through production, is important to our current development and implementation of new production orders. We appreciate Greg’s dedication to our mission.”

Johnson is bringing engineering experience of over 18 years in product development and manufacturing processes. Most recently Johnson served as the Product and Tooling Design Engineer in New Product Development at Dart Container, Inc. in Mason, Michigan a world leader of foodservice containers. While at Dart Container, Greg developed products with customers from product concept feasibility, prototype and production tooling design on through to commercialization.

Earlier in his career, Johnson served as a Design Engineer for Summit Polymers in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He developed and designed products and assembly equipment for injection molded automotive interior components like A/C registers and vents.

Johnson’s scope of experience ranging from concept through commercialization is founded on high integrity and a B.S. Engineering degree with emphasis in Plastics processing. His experience is further highlighted by leading product design, project management, employee development, quality systems, implementing standards, specification of fabrication, and product launch with a passion and commitment to meet the needs of the customer. Currently as the leader for the Tengam Operations and Product Design efforts, he is responsible for creating and maintaining adherence to manufacturing and production standards, feasibility of customer requests, and providing direction and verification through proactive lines of communication with the customer and the Tengam Team.
